Radon Testing
Continuous Radon Monitors (CRM) can be used for time sensitive tests and to substantiate tests involved in real estate transactions. Results from a CRM test are available immediately upon termination of a two day sampling period. When time is not of the essence Integrated Sampling Units such as Activated Charcoal Collectors can be used.
Radon Mitigation (Reduction) Systems
Radon Mitigation (Reduction) Systems vary depending upon the layout of the house. Every house can be mitigated to reduce Radon to a safe level. Active Soil Depressurization
is the universally accepted method for Radon reduction. Sub-slab, Sub-membrane, or combinations of both with multiple suction points and connecting pipes to one or
more radon fans will remedy virtually any radon problem.
Securing Basement Walls
Concrete injection, crack filling, and carbon fiber structural crack repair are offered to fill voids and prevent recurring cracks or shifting in basement walls. Secure basement walls are an integral part of a basic depressurization system.
Certified Mold Remediation
Certified Mold Remediation is offered to insure the safe removal of any water damaged materials. Mold can be dangerous, so we take it seriously. Mold laden materials should be removed in an isolated negatively pressurized environment. The crawl space below your house should be relatively dry and free of mold and other fungi.
Drainage and Pumping Systems
Drainage and pumping systems are available for cases where water intrusion or excessive dampness exists. A Radon Reduction System with Active Soil Depressurization requires the horizontal movement of soil gases beneath the slab or membrane. Excessive moisture impedes this vital movement and reduces the effectiveness of the system.
